Mr Jamie Jardine, Executive Principal
Runcorn School of Teddies and Stuffed Animals
I am genuinely delighted and excited to be the Executive Principal of the Runcorn School of Teddies and Stuffed Animals. I have worked in Runcorn for almost 25 years, and during this time I have seen many changes in the world of education — but the one aspect that has always remained constant is how proud I am to be part of this vibrant community.
It is a privilege to lead an institution committed to aspiration, resilience, and excellence for every learner. Our school motto, "Aspire for Excellence," guides everything we do, from our all-through approach (catering to students from the earliest stages right through to advanced phases) to our focus on building strong values, academic achievement, and a sense of belonging.
Located on Latham Avenue in the heart of Runcorn, we create an environment where every individual is supported to reach their full potential. I look forward to continuing the great work already underway, and I encourage parents, carers, and the wider community to get involved — my door is always open for a chat or to discuss how we can work together.
Thank you for visiting our website. I hope it gives you a clear sense of our school's ethos and the exciting opportunities we offer.
Best wishes,
Mr Jamie Jardine
Executive Principal
Runcorn School of Teddies and Stuffed Animals
At Runcorn School of Teddies and Stuffed Animals, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and ambitious learning environment where every pupil can achieve their very best.
Our all-through setting allows for smooth transitions and consistent high expectations from the earliest years through to more advanced stages.
We prioritise strong pastoral care, academic rigour, and a genuine sense of community, helping every child develop confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
Located in the heart of Runcorn, we are proud to serve our local families and build lasting partnerships that support success both in school and beyond.
Our school was last inspected by Ofsted in May 2022 and was judged Good in all four key judgement areas:
Quality of Education: Good
Behaviour and Attitudes: Good
Personal Development: Good
Leadership and Management: Good
(Plus Early Years Provision was also rated Good where applicable.)
Inspectors highlighted our high expectations for all pupils, effective teaching and support for disadvantaged learners, and the positive relationships across our school community.
We are committed to continuous improvement and regularly review our practice to maintain and build on these strengths. The full report is available on the Ofsted website or by request from the school office.
Our core motto — Aspire for Excellence — underpins everything we do.
We promote fundamental British values (democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect, and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs) alongside personal qualities such as kindness, honesty, perseverance, and responsibility.
We aim to develop well-rounded young people who are academically successful, emotionally secure, and ready to contribute positively to society.
Through a broad, balanced curriculum and rich extra-curricular opportunities, we encourage ambition, creativity, and a strong moral compass in every learner.
We are fully committed to promoting equality and celebrating diversity in line with the Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Equality Duty.
Our school actively works to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity, and foster good relations between people who share protected characteristics and those who do not.
We provide targeted support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), those eligible for pupil premium, and children from all backgrounds to ensure everyone has fair access to education and opportunities.
Our annual equality objectives focus on narrowing gaps in attainment, improving representation in leadership roles, and creating an inclusive culture where every member of our community feels valued and respected.
